Correct for Lens Distortion at Any Distance

Lenses with very wide angular fields of view oftentimes suffer from high distortion. The resulting measurements can have geometrical inconsistencies to the display or source under test, which can make for challenging or nonrepresentational analysis, e.g., grids and areas of interest (AOIs) at specified locations outlined by standards.

By measuring a specific array test pattern, users can create and apply custom distortion corrections. Since lens distortion can change as a function of focus distance, the Distortion Package gives the user flexibility based on the distance required. The Distortion Correction package also corrects some levels of keystoning, and rotation.
